Cavens has hosted some exellent resident fishing parties using an exclusive local loch which is kept only for those booked on one of the events.
QUEENSBERRY LOCHS AT THORNHILL
Queensberry lochs are located near Thornhill, about 40 minutes drive from Cavens, and are set within beautiful countryside on the Estate of the Duke of Buccleuch & Queensberry. Fishing is normally good throughout the season. Fly fishing only is permitted and barbless hooks must be used. Brown trout average 1lb and Rainbow 2lbs but with some reaching up to 4lbs. More >>
